Increase of allowed ethernet frames per minute
Due to high market volatility, Deutsche Börse has decided to increase the number of Ethernet frames per minute allowed over any 10 Gbit/s Order Entry Co-location cross-connect.
The current limit is 600,000 per minute (see Network Access Guide, Section 12.1.2)
From 9 April 2025 this limit has been increased to 900,000 per minute and the aim is to provide all market participants with sufficient headroom to continue their trading and market-making activities.
Deutsche Börse will monitor market developments and announce the next steps in a separate Implementation News in due course.
