With this newsflash, Deutsche Börse wants to inform you about the requirements and the respective deadline of the ISV Registration & Software Management initiative.

As announced via Cash Market Readiness Newsflash from 17 February 2025, Deutsche Börse launched the Software Selection app and the corresponding enhancements in the ETI and FIX LF session ordering process in the Member Section on 14 February 2025 which completed the introduction of ISV Registration & Software Management initiative.

With the introduction of this initiative, Deutsche Börse launched a new process for the registration of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and the registration and selection of software used by Xetra participants. 

The following action steps are required from ISVs within the framework of this initiative: 

1. ISVs, which offer software services to Xetra participants, are required to register their entity via the ISV Registration app available in the Member Section.
2. Following the successful entity registration, ISVs should register the software that is used by Xetra participants to connect to the ETI and FIX LF interfaces via the Software Registration app. During software registration, ISVs are asked to provide certain details on the functionalities and usage of this software.
    
3. Finally, for the ISVs with vendor access contract (access to the simulation environment), simulation sessions should be enhanced with the software details.

Clients of Deutsche Börse are recommended to contact their ISVs to inform them of the new requirements of Deutsche Börse. 

The following action items are required from Deutsche Börse clients within this initiative:

1. Trading Participants, who use ISV software to connect to the ETI and/or FIX LF interfaces, are required to select this software via the Software Selection app in the Member Section.
   Please note that the software available for selection in this app is the software that has been registered by ISVs via the Software Registration app in the second step. An approval task is created for the software owner upon the software selection by the Trading Participant.  
2. Trading Participants, who use self-developed software to connect to the ETI and/or FIX LF interfaces, are required to register this software via the Software Registration app available in the Member Section.
3. Following the successful software registration and/or selection, Trading Participants are required to enhance their new and existing ETI and/or FIX LF sessions with the details of software under Technical Connection in the Member Section. The software registered or selected in the first and second steps is available for the assignment to the existing and new sessions. 

The above-mentioned steps of the ISV Registration & Software Management initiative need to be completed by 13 June 2025. 

Please note that starting from 18 April 2025 the newly introduced fields in the ETI and/or FIX LF session ordering process will become mandatory for ordering new sessions. Thus, Deutsche Börse recommends the Trading Participants to complete the above-mentioned steps to avoid any complications when ordering a new session after 18 April 2025. 

Moreover, as announced via Xetra Circular 010/25, the Exchange Rules for the Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (“Exchange Rules”) by means of the Twenty-fourth Amendment Ordinance to the Exchange Rules and the amendments to the Conditions for Transactions on the Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (“Conditions for Transactions”) by means of the Fourteenth Amendment Ordinance to the Conditions for Transactions are changed to reflect the new requirements introduced with this initiative. The changes will come into effect as of 30 June 2025.
