With this Newsflash, we inform you about ETI Password Encryption changes that will be implemented with the launch of the T7 Release 13.1 on 19 May 2025.

For the production start of T7 Release 13.1 a new public key for ETI password encryption will be created. This key will have sequence number 3, making the key with sequence number 1 obsolete, meaning that as of 19 May 2025 sessions using sequence number 1 will not be able to login and trading will not be possible.

To ensure a smooth transition to T7 Release 13.1 in production, we urge migrating to the key with sequence number 2 immediately, before the launch of T7 Release 13.1. 

Password encryption is only required within the Equinix co-location facility for the production environment. The encryption must be done using Deutsche Börse AG’s public RSA key. The public RSA key with sequence number 3 will be published prior to the connection test on Saturday, 17 May 2025 and can be downloaded from the ETI documentation and Network Access website

The latest public RSA key is also contained in a successful ETI session logon response message. 

Please Note: The public key with the sequence number 2 can be obtained immediately in the same way as described above.
