New bond ETFs from AXA IM on Xetra: access to emerging bond markets in line with the Paris Climate Agreement

Two new exchange-traded funds from AXA Investment Managers have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

The AXA IM Emerging Markets Credit PAB UCITS ETF invests in fixed and floating rate bonds issued by non-sovereign emerging markets issuers with an investment grade or sub-investment grade rating. The objective is to track the performance of the ICE Emerging Markets Corporate Plus Paris Aligned Absolute Emissions Index, taking into account environmental and social characteristics. This index-based ETF is available to investors in both accumulating and distributing share classes. Both share classes can also be traded in euros and dollars.

The benchmark index is designed to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050, in line with the Paris Climate Agreement, and aims to reduce carbon emissions by 50 per cent compared to the parent index and maintain at least a 7 per cent reduction thereafter.

The ongoing costs are 0.34 per cent in each asset class.
