European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) is part of Deutsche Börse Group and is headquartered in Leipzig. More than 600 employees work in the panorama tower at Augustusplatz, in the heart of Leipzig, Germany.
EEX is part of EEX Group, which serves the international commodity markets. Within the group, EEX offers contracts on power, natural gas and emission allowances as well as freight and agricultural products. EEX is an enabler of the energy transition and decarbonization, advancing renewables integration through dedicated products and services, including those related to guarantees of origin.
