After completing her studies at the University of St. Gallen, she began her career in 1992 at McKinsey & Company, where she advised financial services companies until 2012. Her clients included banks, stock exchanges, asset managers, insurance companies and regulatory authorities. Ms. Streit’s consulting focus included strategy, M&A, regulation, finance and risk management. In 2001, she was part of the advisory team that advised Deutsche Börse AG on its own initial public offering. In her role as a partner and, from 2003, as a senior partner at McKinsey, another focus of her work was on internal human resources and leadership development. Ms. Streit is Chair of the Supervisory Board of Vonovia SE and has chaired the Government Commission on the German Corporate Governance Code since 2023. Ms. Streit has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG since 2019.
