1.   Introduction

This circular contains information for Trading Participants about KOSPI Derivatives and USD/KRW Derivatives at Eurex:

The Korea Exchange (KRX) has made a Market Closing Announcement for 3 June 2025.

On 3 June 2025, Eurex will also be closed for trading in Eurex KOSPI Derivatives and USD/KRW Derivatives.

2.   Required action

Please take the additional closed-for-trading day into consideration for your trading activity. Please also consider the changes in expiry and listing dates for weekly options on the KOSPI index. 

3.   Details

On 3 June 2025, the Republic of Korea will hold presidential elections. The Korea Exchange (KRX) will be closed for trading on that day.

According to the Contract Specifications for Daily Futures on KOSPI 200 derivatives (OKS2, FBK2, FMK2, OKW1/5, OKM1/5) and USD/KRW Derivatives (FCUW), Eurex will be closed for trading in the respective products on public holidays in the Republic of Korea.
