Eurex Repo Readiness Newsflash | Eurex Repo F7: ACTION REQUIRED: Decommissioning of support for TLS 1.2!
With this Newsflash, we would like to remind clients of mandatory upcoming technical changes relating to the decommissioning of the payload TLS encryption version 1.2.
Overview:
An upgrade to Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.3 is required due to improved security features. As such, F7 will decommission TLS 1.2 for API, FIX and GUI connections.
The decommissioning of TLS 1.2 will become effective on the following dates:

27 April 2026 (F7 API, FIX, GUI) | 6 May 2026 (F7 API, FIX, GUI) |
REQUIRED ACTION:
Trading Participants currently using TLS 1.2 for connections must adapt both their infrastructure and applications to support TLS 1.3 before the date of decommission.
- Clients who have not upgraded by the decommissioning date will be unable to establish a connection to F7 trading systems.
- As version 1.3 is already available in F7 simulation, production and advanced simulation, clients may begin the upgrade immediately.
