1. Introduction

Please be informed that the following Eurex Repo legally binding documents have been adjusted and become effective on 2 June 2025
 
2. Required action 

Eurex Repo Participants will need to review their internal operational processes due to the following changes in the attached legally binding documents. 
 

3. Details
 

A. Eurex Repo Terms and Conditions 

  • Regular payout functionality for long term repos: the payout periods contain a short first stub payment (less than a year) and regular payments with a frequency of 12 months. (Amendments to numbers 3.1.1, 3.1.2 and 3.2)
  • Introduction of an automatic cancellation of not novated Select Invest trades on intended Front Leg settlement day. The cancellation time is configurable in F7 per currency. (Amendments to number 3.3)
  • Editorial changes to number 2.4 (2).

B. Eurex Repo Basket Specifications
 

  • GC Pooling Concentration Limits for Cash Provider for the GC Pooling ECB and ECB EXT Baskets: Introduction of a concentration allocation limit of 50 percent of total issued amount (in euro) with a maximum allocation amount of EUR 2 billion per security possible for the Asset Type AT10 (EEA Legislative Covered Bonds). The allocation limit may only be applied if other securities are available for allocation (“best effort basis”). (Amendments to numbers 3.2.1 and 3.2.2). The effective date of this amendment will be announced separately by an Eurex Repo Newsflash in June 2025. 
  • Inclusion of Ireland & Spain to the GC Pooling ECB Basket and inclusion of Ireland, Spain, Slovakia & Slovenia to the GCP Green Bond Basket. (Amendments to Annex 1 - GC Pooling Basket Definition)
