New on Xetra: Equity ETF from UBS with access to the 500 largest US companies following an equal-weight approach

Since Wednesday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by UBS Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The UBS ETF (IE) S&P 500 Equal Weight UCITS ETF tracks the performance of the S&P 500 Equal Weight Index. The benchmark index consists of the 500 largest U.S. companies by market capitalisation from the major sectors of the U.S. economy. Each company is weighted equally at the time of the quarterly rebalancing, which means that smaller companies have the same impact on the performance of the ETF as larger ones.

The fund invests in derivative financial instruments to track the performance of the reference index.
