Additionally, the T7 XML report file naming of the Short Code ID reports TR160, TR161, TR166, TR167, TR168 and Algo ID reports TR162, TR163 of Xetra (MIC: XETR) will be aligned in order to streamline the report naming convention. In addition to the MIC in the file name the addition “T7” will be added.

Reports will be provided with the aligned report naming in the simulation environment starting on 16 October 2024 and will be provided accordingly in the production environment with the T7 Release 13.0 on 18 November 2024. The report naming convention is as follows:

  • Example for TR160: RPTTR160GDBXXYYYYMMDDXETRT7.XML_ZIP

Please find the T7 XML report naming conventions please refer to “Common Report & Upload Engine User Guide” on the Xetra website under:

In the simulation environment, the T7 XML TR169 “Short Code ID - Correction Report” had a limitation, which was an incorrect value in the report fields “ValidFrom” and “ValidTo”. This limitation was fixed and the correct values were provided in the respective report fields with the simulation environment batch of 9 October 2024.

The Common Upload Engine (CUE) simulation environment had not been aligned with the T7 simulation batch calendar, which led to incorrect validation results of the upload file fields “ValidFrom” and “ValidTo”. The alignment took place and the CUE simulation environment has applied the T7 simulation batch calendar since 13 October 2024.

For the Short Code ID and Algo ID solution 2.0 go-live in Production, please consider that for the last day of the old solution, which is 15 November 2024, the submission of upload files is feasible until the regular cut-off time of 23:30 CET. However, the upload functionalities will be disabled on 23:31 CET on 15 November 2024 and will be enabled again on Sunday, 17 November 2024, at 00:01 CET.

From this time onwards, Trading Participants must submit upload files in the new upload file layout. This is also applicable for uploads of Short Code IDs, which shall resolve missings detected for trading day 15 November 2024. Please find the new upload files of Short Code IDs and Algo IDs on the Xetra website under:

As always, Deutsche Börse highly recommends that all Trading Participants work through the documentation to ensure a smooth go-live of the enhanced Short Code ID and Algo ID solution 2.0, which will be introduced with the T7 Release 13.0 on 18 November 2024.

We strongly urge all Trading Participants to take part in the simulation environment and to test various scenarios to ensure readiness.
